Explore Kuranda at your own pace on a self-drive tour from Port Douglas where all you need to do is make your way to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Base Station and the rest is taken care of for you - now thats a holiday! You will enjoy the Kuranda Scenic Rail for your journey to Kuranda, with some breathtaking views along the way. You will have free time at Kuranda Village to explore the Heritage Markets or visit other attractions such as Birdworld Kuranda, Kuranda Koala Gardens and the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (entry is at own expense). Once you have finished exploring the village in the rainforest, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your return journey back to your vehicle.
