This combo package offers a great value day tour from Cairns to visit the rainforest village of Kuranda and entry to Tjapukai Cultural Park. This day tour from Cairns includes all transfers, a journey on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway and the return trip on the Skyrail Cableway with entry to Tjapukai Cultural Park - an awesome day out for the whole family! To start the day a driver will take you from your Cairns accommodation to visit Tjapukai Cultural Park to embark on a historic journey to learn about the Aboriginal culture that has existed for nearly 40,000 years. Here you will learn about authentic stone-age artifacts and beautiful murals. An indigenous guide will show you through the Park, including bush food demonstrations, didgeridoo demonstrations, theatres, fire making demonstrations and the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. You are then taken to board the scenic Skyrail Cableway to enjoy the amazing views while gliding silently over the rainforest canopy. There are two stations en route where you can alight to enjoy a walk through the rainforest and admire the views from spectacular lookouts great for photos! Upon arrival in Kuranda, you have two hours of free time to do explore, shop, dine or visit one of the many local attractions.
