Enjoy wine tastings, lunch and sightseeing in the Central Otago region with this 7-hour Gourmet Wine Tour. Aboard an air-conditioned vehicle, you'll travel around the region to visit five different vineyards spread over two popular wine regions; Gibbston and Cromwell/Bannockburn basin. The 7-hour tour includes wine tastings at all of the vineyards, including Australasia's largest underground wine cave, a gourmet platter of cheeses and handcrafted chocolates paired with a glass of wine. The ultimate wine and food adventure, wine-lovers and foodies won't be disappointed with the selection of wines available throughout the tour. Guests are also given the opportunity to purchase additional glass or bottles of wine from the vineyards to take home or enjoy on the tour. This tour journeys through some of Central Otago's most beautiful destinations, doubling it as a sightseeing tour. Accompanied with commentary of the region, you'll be treated to views of the Kawarau Bridge, learn about the region's early pioneering history and explore the Cromwell Town. Suitable for children aged above 6 years, this is a great day out that combines delicious food, wine and great sightseeing. Tours depart daily from downtown Queenstown or your accommodation at 9:30 am and return around 4:30 pm
