Overview
Your SEIT Outback Australia guide will meet you at the entrance of your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort and your tour will travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From there is it a 40- kilometre journey through the desert landscape to the mighty rock formation of Kata Tjuta. As you approach the entrance to the Valley of the Winds, named for the winds that whistle between the massive domes that shape Kata Tjuta, the result of eons of weathering and continual upheaval, your guide will share the significance of this men's sacred ceremonial site. We walk 7.4 kilometres at the base of the conglomerate rock walls as your guide explains how the environment and the geology have evolved over millions of years. Enjoy a morning tea at a stop en route and once back at the start of the circuit your guide will return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

Child Seats: - It is a legal requirement for all infants and small children under the age of 5 years to be restrained in a child seat. - When booking a child restraint please advise which restraint (capsule, baby seat or booster seat) is required at time of booking. Audio Language iPod: - No deposits for language iPods for all SEIT Tours, they are to be pre ordered and given to guests on arrival of tour. The Lost Camel Pickup/Dropoff: - Tour pick-ups and drop offs will take place out the front of Sails in the Desert Hotel (due to limited space outside the front of The Lost Camel).
