Overview
Experience Uluru differently Your four-hour tour begins with a complimentary pickup and transfer from your hotel or the campground at Ayers Rock Resort. Upon arrival at the Segway base area, the tour guide will provide you with Segway training. You'll take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride of your Segway. Once you are comfortable and able to Segway with ease you'll be ready for your guided tour of magical Uluru. With your knowledgeable guide you'll Segway around the full base of Uluru. As your cruise around the base of Uluru, you'll stop for photos and interpretive talks about local Anangu culture, flora, fauna, geology and the history of the area. Usually the Segway component of the tour takes about 2 hours. After you've finished your Segway around the base of Uluru, it's time for a short walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole. This iconic walk usually takes about 30minutes as there is lot s to photograph and even Ancient Aboriginal rock art to be viewed. Upon return back to the Segway base you'll enjoy worry-free transfers by bus back to your hotel within Ayers Rock Resort.

Valid for 01APR19-31MAR21: Rider Requirements In order to engage in any Uluru Segway Tours activities participants need to: - be a minimum of 12 years of age, and if under 18 years of age be accompanied by an adult; - weight between 45-117kg a set out by Segway PT manufacturer; - correctly wear the provided helmet at all times; - be able to stand un-aided for the entire length of the tour; - be able to walk unassisted; - be able to step on-to and off-of the Segway, approximately 20cm (8inches); - be free of drugs or alcohol; - have vision that is of a standard that will allow safe operation of a Segway PT; - have the balance, coordination, fitness and vision of someone who can safely ride a bicycle; - inform Uluru Segway Tours of any health or vision conditions that may impact their participation in the activity People with serious health problems/back injuries or who are pregnant should not participate in any Segway activities. It is the riders responsibility to ensure that they have read and understand all of the above rider requirements.
