Overview
This half hour flight over the vibrant red Australian outback provides a unique insight into the rugged terrain that makes up Australia's iconic red centre. Experience the breathtaking feeling of floating silently above the outback as the sun slowly rises over the desert on this awe-inspiring ballooning adventure. Journey to the launch site in the cool pre dawn darkness and begin your ascent just as the morning light begins to illuminate the rugged McDonnell Ranges. Float gently across the vast expanse of the Australian Outback while keeping an eye out for native wildlife including the iconic red kangaroo, and gain an appreciation of the remoteness of the area as you glide across the landscape. After you land feel free to get involved to assist the crew in packing up the balloon or take the chance to grab some photographs for memorabilia purposes. At the balloon landing site you'll be provided with sparkling wine and tropical fruit juice for refreshments as well as muffins, slices, biscuits, cheeses and fresh fruits.

Important Information Special Conditions
Pick-up is available from selected hotels, hostels, and locations in CBD. You will be able to arrange pick-up from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. Please be ready and waiting outside your hotel 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Autopia Tours does not take passengers under the age of 4 years old. Due to limited luggage restrictions, prams, pushers or wheelchairs. Please note anyone under the age of 18 years old, must be traveling with a legal guardian or adult. NOTE: Every effort is made to locate guests upon arrival at their pick-up point. If our Driver Guide/Travel Director/Day Tours Staff is unable to locate the guests at the appointed time, guests will be required to make their way to the tour departure point at own expense. You can change your pick-up point after a booking has been made, please do so 48hrs prior to departure." Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking. unless booked within 4 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour. All booking confirmations will be subject to availability. Fares, itineraries and days of operations are subject to change due to unforseen circumstances or operational limitations. A fuel levy may apply when world oil prices exceed the allowance in the fare. There is limited luggage allowance on the Day Tours. Please check with the supplier directly in case you are carrying more luggage on the tour day.

Hotel pick-up is offered for this tour from selected CBD hotels and common Pick up locations. Note: if you are booking within 24 hours of the tour/activity departure time, we cannot guarantee hotel pick-up. Once your purchase is complete, we will send you complete contact information (phone number, email address, etc.) for our local operator to organize pick-up arrangements.
