Overview
Your guide for the day picks you up in the morning and we leave the city nice and early. The first stop on our Blue Mountains trip is a fun and interactive Australian wildlife park, home to the largest collection of Australian native animals in the world, where you can cuddle a kangaroo, feed a wallaby, check out some huge crocodiles and take a selfie with a koala! The Blue Mountains National Park covers over one million hectares and is an inspiring mix of rainforest, canyons, tall forests, and headlands. When we get to the Blue Mountains, we take you on our first bushwalk and tell you stories about the ancient indigenous inhabitants, bush tucker and native flora and fauna. We come across colourful birds, unique animal life, and dramatic canyons and cliffs. You see the Three Sisters, the famous rock formation which is one of the most iconic images in Australia. The views overlooking the Jamison Valley are stunning, even on a cloudy day! During your Blue Mountains trip, we also take you on an amazing cliff face walk down through the rainforest. You can then walk back up or hold on tight as you ride the worlds steepest railway up (own expense). Pick-up is available from selected hotels, hostels, and locations in CBD. You will be able to arrange pick-up from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. Please be ready and waiting outside your hotel 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. If our Driver Guide/Travel Director/Day Tours Staff is unable to locate the guests at the appointed time, guests will be required to make their way to the tour departure point at own expense. You can change your pick-up point after a booking has been made, please do so 48hrs prior to departure." Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking. unless booked within 4 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour. All booking confirmations will be subject to availability. Fares, itineraries and days of operations are subject to change due to unforseen circumstances or operational limitations. A fuel levy may apply when world oil prices exceed the allowance in the fare. There is limited luggage allowance on the Day Tours. Please check with the supplier directly in case you are carrying more luggage on the tour day.
