Sovereign Hill is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day except Christmas Day. During daylight saving (October til April), Sovereign Hill is open until 5.30 pm. The Gold Museum is open 9:30 am to 5:30 pm every day except Christmas Day. During daylight saving (October til April), the Gold Museum is open until 6 pm. Free parking available onsite. Sovereign Hill is located 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from Ballarat City Centre. You must make your own way there. For the price of a single days entry, you can now enjoy a second consecutive day at Sovereign Hill. Child age is 5-15 years.Children 15 years and under must be supervised by an accompanying adult. An adult is deemed to be any person aged 16 years or older.
