Grab your board and get ready for the ultimate white water adventure on the Tully River in Tropical North Queensland. The only white water boarding experience in the whole country, this tour will see you dive in for one of the best water-based adventures in the region. Departing Cairns, you'll make your way to the popular Tully River where you'll come face-to-face with some of the most ferocious rapids in the region. With up to 4.5 hours spent tackling these grade three rapids, you'll be sure to work up an appetite, which is why this tour also includes morning tea and lunch. All members of the tour group will be provided with safety gear including a life jacket, helmet, knee and shin guards, wetsuit pants and fins, and a world-class white river board. Additionally, all necessary training will be provided by your experienced guide, meaning you'll learn how to swim in the rapids and manoeuvre your board to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. To take part in this adventurous experience all participants must be 16 years or over, however, those under 18 years will require parental consent of the day of the tour. Tours depart on a daily basis from 6am and all members of the group are advised to bring swimmers, closed in shoes, sunscreen, dry clothes and shoes and your sense of adventure. Photos and videos of the experience are also available to purchase at the end of the tour.
