You can now visit one of Western Australias must do attractions - the Willie Creek Pearl Farm - on a half-day tour from Broome! Enjoy a 1 hour coach transfer to the award winning facility to uncover how the complex cultured pearling process transforms a pearl from shells to showroom! Sit back in comfort and take in the views of the Kimberley region as you are driven to the Willie Creek Pearl Farm. It is here that you will discover the modern cultured pearl farming process on a guided tour of the pearl farm. You will witness a live pearl harvest demonstration where you will be shown the entire process from seeding and harvest through to the care of pearls and jewellery demonstrations. Watch the technical and complex process that is taken to create the best pearls in the world, and how they are turned into beautiful pieces of jewellery. The tour includes a cruise through the crystal blue waters of Willie Creek to view live oysters in their natural environment, followed by a pearling masterclass. Hear how to care for pearls and have ample time to browse the showroom to view the beautiful jewellery on display. The tours run three times a day and last 5 hours including travel time, with a complimentary morning or afternoon tea for the 8.45am, 11am and 1.45pm tours, with the 11am tour including lunch.
