Important Information Special Conditions
A moderate to high level of fitness is required to complete this walk Shared bathrooms There is a small shop at each lodge where walkers can purchase freeze dried food, snacks, beer and wine Maximum capacity is 42 As there is no regular transport available to Tuatapere a charter coach is available for groups of 6 or more pax and this is quoted on an individual basis During some of your walks, be sure to wear the clothes that you intend to tramp in Pack shoes that are comfortable and provide good support for the ankles. It best to have your shoes broken in properly to precent blisters Food such as bananas and muesli bars are good light foods to carry that provide quick energy
