Then visit Rainbow Springs nature park to see the famous New Zealand kiwi, as well as a huge range of other native New Zealand wildlife and plants. After visiting the top Rotorua sights, set out across the countryside to a very special New Zealand destination the Hobbiton Movie Set, constructed on a beautiful 1,250 acre farm near Matamata. Take a guided tour of Hobbiton and learn how this working farm was transformed into The Shire from Middle-earth for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. Your guide will show you locations like Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn and the Mill and maybe even let you in on some secrets from filming! After your Hobbiton Movie Set tour, return to Rotorua.

Pick-up is available from selected hotels, hostels, and locations in CBD. You will be able to arrange pick-up from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. Please be ready and waiting outside your hotel 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
